Navarre Fishing Charter 2/27/13

Navarre Fishing Charter - Had the pleasure of fishing with Mr. Steve and his wife this afternoon. We started off losing some big fish until we finally buttoned one up and put him in the boat, a nice 28'' redfish. That was followed by a 30'', a 32'', a 27.5'', and finally a 25.5'' for dinner. We lost a couple more and the boated a nice sheepshead for the grill. With the wind picking up we decided to head in a little early and start cleaning fish. The redfish are getting thick and the sheepshead are starting to bite.

Pensacola Fishing Charter - 2/15/13 - Flat Out Charters

Pensacola Fishing Charter - Today I had the pleasure of fishing with the Nelson family. The bite started off a little slow but picked up as soon as the tide changed. We caught lots of Black Snapper, Red Snapper, some nice Bull reds and a big octopus!. The Sheepshead were being caught here and there so it shouldnt be long until the sheepshead spawn is in full force. Navarre Fishing Charter - 2/9/13

Capt. Brad and I took a day for ourselves and went looking for some fish last week. We had a blast catching redfish, flounder, bull reds, and knocking the rust off of our own fishing skills. Here is some video Capt. Brad put together from our trip.

Navarre Fishing Charter - 2/9/13

Navarre Fishing Charter - Today I was joined by Bill and his grandson for some redfish action in Pensacola Bay. We started off hitting some docks looking for sot reds. We quickly boated a 20'' red but the bite turned off. With catch and release on their mind we went searching for some Bull Reds. A quick ride into Pensacola Bay and we were on em. We spent the rest of the trip running and gunning from one school to the next. Now is a great time to book a Navarre or Pensacola fishing charter!

Pensacola Fishing Charter - 2/8/13

Pensacola Fishing Charter - Good day on the water today with my buddy Capt. Brad King. Saw hundreds of slot reds, lots of trout, and hundreds of bull reds. Once we figured out how to work the reels and cast again we started to catch some fish. We boated 8 or 10 slots, 3 or 4 bulls and a flounder. Couldnt ask for better weather this morning!

 

Navarre Spring Break Fishing!

Spring Break is almost here and so are the fish. With March fast approaching, the Sheepshead spawn is about to get underway. Reservations are filling up fast with anglers who want to fill their coolers with some tasty filets. Sheepshead are not the only fish on the menu this Spring. Flounder, redfish, trout, pompano, cobia, and mackerel will soon be making their showing in big numbers. Spring Break is a great time to get out on the water and fill your cooler with fish. Make your reservation soon and start heating up the grease!

Navarre Fishing Charter - 2/3/13

Navarre Fishing Charter - Had a fun trip yesterday with a group from UWF. We started out in Pensacola Bay trying to put some big redfish in the boat. After a lot of throw back snapper and two big break offs we finally landed a 29'' redfish. The bite started to slow down so we headed to the bridge to put a box full of white trout in the boat before we went back to look for some more big reds. We were just about to give up when we saw a nice school of big redfish. With every rod on the boat hooked up we managed to boat 3 of the 4 reds and they were some of the biggest Ive seen in a while. The fishing is good now, but it going to be really good when Spring gets here and the water starts to warm up a bit.

Pensacola Fishing Charter - 1/28/13

Pensacola Fishing Charter - Clay, Linda, Denny, and Rita joined me today on a fun trip in Pensacola Bay. The weather was windy, foggy, and cloudy but we still managed to catch a few fish. We battled Red Snapper everywhere we went but we were able to catch a couple black sea bass for dinner and a couple of nice red fish that were just an inch or two too big. All in all it was a fun day and I cant wait to fish with these guys again!

Navarre Fishing Charter - 1/20/13

Navarre Fishing Charter - The Redfish are on fire in Pensacola Bay!.On Yesterdays trip we started off catching lots of snapper in the pass before we finally landed a nice Bull Red. We then moved to the bridge and caught enough white trout for dinner. Everyone decided they wanted to catch more Bull Reds so off we went. It wasnt long before we rode up on a large school of Redfish crashing the top of the water. We pulled in one redfish after another for a while before calling it a day.
